According to BBC
The England international, 22, suffered the injury following a challenge from defender Paddy McNair in Arsenal’s 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United, but manager Arsene Wenger has no real indication of how long he will be out of action for.
“I don’t want to say how bad it is because I’m not a specialist medically. The first news is that he will be out for the next few games. To know how long he will need to see a specialist,” he said.
Wilshere has had a long history of ankle problems, and revealed he could be out of action for a while this time round, but there’s been no official time scale as of yet.
