According to the Standard,
Gundogan, a German international, has recently made his return from injury, and is being linked with a host of clubs around Europe due to Borussia Dortmund’s disappointing league campaign. He admits that he would relish a Premier League in the future.
“I want to look forward and make up for lost time with sporting success. Playing outside Germany is one of my big goals. If one day I leave here, I’d like to play for one of the big teams in England,” he said.
Real Madrid previous campaign in for Gundogan, but had their bid rejected. Dortmund will be hard pressed to keep their best players this season as they are in the relegation zone after 12 games.
