The Blues strolled to a 5-0 success in Germany to win Group D with a game to spare and once again stretch their incredibly impressive unbeaten start to the season.
And after such a dominant performance on the European stage Ballack, who made 166 appearances and scored 25 goals during his four years at Stamford Bridge, believes the Blues are more than equipped to claim their second Champions League trophy.

“But they are one of these teams that can win it for sure.”
Chelsea had several more opportunities in the game to make the score line more emphatic but will be pleased with their nights work.
It is now an impressive combined 19 games in all competitions that Jose Mourinho has not tasted defeat in – the run meaning they sit at the top of the Premier League table by six points, while also through to the quarter finals of the League Cup.
