Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle has played down rumours of an impending exit in January, reports Sky
The German international has been rumoured to be leaving Stamford Bridge, potentially as a makeweight for Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus to come in the opposition direction.
Schurrle has been on the periphery this season, and drew criticism from manager Jose Mourinho for a poor Capital One Cup performance when he was afforded a rare start in the squad. He’s currently behind Eden Hazard, Willian and even Ramires in the first-team, but he does appear content to stay with the Premier League leaders for now.
However, if he continues to be on the fringes at Chelsea, his future could well be decided for him by the manager if they receive a lucrative January bid.
