Chelsea’s Petr Cech to stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season amid Besiktas interest

According to the Standard, Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech will remain with the club until the summer, in the hope that a side will look to recruit him as first-choice for 2015/16, with reports that Besiktas are keen on his signature.

“We are going to make a few signings during the transfer window. We are working together with Chelsea to sign a player. We have not held talks yet however. If Cech does become available I would support such a move,” said Besiktas club president Fikret Orman.

Despite the interest, Cech looks set to stay at Chelsea until the summer, as the long-serving goalkeeper wants his next move to be at a club who will give him regular first-team football.
