Crystal Palace host Sunderland in a vital game on Monday evening, and a win for the visitors would see them move out of the drop zone and move above their opponents.
There would be less pressure on Palace going into this game if they had been able to hold on to their lead at West Bromwich Albion. Two goals ahead at half-time, they contrived to throw it away and concede a stoppage time equaliser.
A second home win would lift them back towards mid-table, and despite a lack of wins, their recent performances do offer encouragement, with Fraizer Campbell beginning to find some form for his sixth Premier League club.
Although they competed better and were in the game throughout, Sunderland did not offer a great deal of response from their drubbing at Southampton as they lost to Arsenal last time out.
Their defensive errors helped win Palace this fixture in August 2013 and it appears little has changed since in that regard, with two more catastrophic moments gifting Gunners forward Alexis Sanchez with his double, leaving manager Gustavo Poyet massively concerned.
Scott Dann is unlikely to be fit for Palace, but they do have Damien Delaney and James McArthur back from suspension and injury respectively.
Sunderland are without Ricky Alvarez, Billy Jones, Sebastien Coates and Emanuele Giaccherini due to injury. Costel Pantilimon could be in line to replace Vito Mannone in goal.
