Edinson Cavani coy on PSG future amid January exit rumours

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has hinted he could be open to a move from Ligue 1 in the future, reports Squawka.

“Each person has their own view, but to talk about me being sad or other problems, it has never been the case. (However) in football we never know what is going to happen the next season, or the next day. There are lots of things that could happen in a club,” said the Uruguayan.

Cavani, who has been linked with a host of European sides for the last 18 months, has scored five goals in 11 Ligue 1 games this season, but hasn’t been spearheading the attack as he likes to. The former Napoli man has been forced to play wider due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic operating through the middle.

Arsenal are one of many sides linked with the 27-year-old services, and interest is expected to rise in January.
