Jordan Henderson reveals Mario Balotelli is working hard in training to find his scoring form

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has revealed out-of-form striker Mario Balotelli is working hard on the training firled to find his form for the Reds, reports ESPN.

“Everyone knows Mario has got big quality. He has played with some top teams, (but) the goals haven’t really come for him as yet. Every top striker goes through a period where they can’t seem to find the back of the net, but he is working well on the training field and working hard in games. I’m sure they will start flowing in,” said the England international.

Balotelli, 24, joined Liverpool for £16M this summer from Serie A side AC Milan, but has yet to score a Premier League goal for Brendan Rodgers’ side. The Italian international has found himself dropped from Liverpool’s starting eleven and from the Italian national team this season as a result, and with first-choice striker Daniel Sturridge not expected to return until the New Year, Liverpool desperately need Balotelli firing.
