Leicester City midfielder Esteban Cambiasso scored an own goal as West Brom earned a rare away win this afternoon, reports BBC
After a goalless first-half, the Argentine international put the ball into his own net to gift the visitors the lead. Leicester struggled to create clear-cut opportunities to find an equaliser, with Jamie Vardy and Andy King both coming close to scoring, but couldn’t beat West Brom’s Ben Foster between the sticks.
The result sees Leicester City now having lost their fourth consecutive Premier League game, while West Brom end the day in the top-half of the table. The Foxes also saw their unbeaten home record come to an end, with Nigel Pearson’s side having picked up 7 points from four games prior to today’s defeat.
