Leicester’s winless and scoreless run continued, but they come away with the positives after a scoreless draw at home to Sunderland, reports BBC
Clear-cut chances were at a premium between the two sides on Saturday, with Leicester’s Jeffrey Schlupp and Matty James arguably having the best opportunities to put the Foxes in front in the game. Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher will also feel he could have broken the deadlock, but found his close effort saved.
The lack of goals for Leicester will certainly be a worry for manager Nigel Pearson, as the newly-promoted outfit have gone their last five games without scoring, let alone having no Premier League win since mid-September.
As for Sunderland, they have picked up an impressive five points from three games, while keeping a clean sheet. They end the day three points and three places ahead of Leicester.
