Despite Leicester City currently in the relegation zone, manager Nigel Pearson isn’t fearful of being axed by the club’s ambitious owner, reports BBC
“No (I’m not worried of being sacked). I manage through highs and lows and those decisions are absolutely nothing to do with me. My influence is working with the staff and players. I cannot influence a great deal else. I will continue to do my job in the way I always do it,” he said.
Leicester City have lost their last four league games, while picking up just one point from six. Such a poor run of form has seen the Foxes into the relegation zone, which puts pressure on Pearson.
City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha previously stated he wants the Midlands club pushing for the top-half under his rich investment. Such pressure could well see the Leicester manager in trouble.
