Liverpool’s Adam Lallana believes Rickie Lambert is struggling with a lack of playing time

Liverpool new-boy Adam Lallana believes struggling teammate Rickie Lambert needs games to find his best form, reports the Express.

“We knew it was never going to be easy moving clubs. We’ve come to a team that people expect a lot from. When Rickie gets his chance, I’m sure he’s going to take it. It’s hard when you get 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there. Sometimes it’s tough to be sharp enough straight away. He’s used to playing week in and week out,” he said.

Rickie Lambert, 32 is yet to score in the Premier League in nine games for Liverpool. He’s only amassed 182 minutes of football in the division, with manager Brendan Rodgers having played Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini ahead of the England international.
