Manchester City 2-1 Swansea City: Sky Blues come from behind to take all three points at the Etihad

Goals from Stevan Jovetic and Yaya Toure saw Manchester City come from a goal down to leave the Etihad with all three points in the bag, reports BBC Sport.

Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony shocked the hosts by scoring inside of ten minutes. The Ivorian international brought down a pass from Nathan dyer, before finishing past Joe Hart in the Man City goal.

However, the home side were level less than 10 minutes later. Steven Jovetic steered home Jesus Navas’ cross to get the Sky Blues back into the game. It stayed level at the break, but Manchester City boasted the lion’s share of possession and chances throughout.

In the second-half, Man City made their dominance count, turning the game on its head with a Yaya Toure goal after the hour mark. Toure found the back of the net after linking with Fernandinho, and Manuel Pellegrini’s men managed to see the game out for all three points.
