Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko could be out for up to a month after picking up a calf injury, reports Sky
The Bosnia-Herzegovina international picked up the injury in City’s 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers, and is now likely to be sitting out of the Sky Blues’ pivotal Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, as well as being an absentee for his country’s important Euro 2016 game against Israel.
“I am extremely disappointed with the news that I will miss this (Israel) match but I have faith in my team-mates and believe that they have it in them to get a result,” said Dzeko.
Dzeko, 28, has scored two goals in 10 league games for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season. He’s found himself in and out of the team, and is now set to be absent for the biggest game of City’s European future.
