Angel Di Maria is expected to miss Manchester United’s Tuesday clash against Stoke City through injury, reports BBC
The Argentinean winger, 26, was substituted in the 13th minute of Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Hull City this weekend, and is yet another player on the treatment table.
“He shall be out at least on Tuesday. We have to wait to see. Maybe tomorrow we’ll know more,” said manager Louis van Gaal. The Red Devils face Stoke City on Tuesday, as the Christmas fixture list builds up, and their record signing is likely to be out of action.
Di Maria has been a key player as Manchester United have found their way into the top-four of the Premier League this season. Signed from Real Madrid in the summer, the £60M-man has scored and assisted nine goals in 11 league games.
