Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao suffers a new injury

According to ITV Football, Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has picked up another injury that will see him out of action for another two weeks.

“His knee is stable but his calf is affecting his knee which is conversely impacting his calf. It’s very simple really,” said Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal.

Falcao, 28, has had injury problems over the last 18 months, with his debut season with AS Monaco seeing him pick u a cruciate ligament injury in January that is still hampering his fitness now.

Manchester United signed the Colombia on loan on deadline day, with a view to make the deal permanent in the summer, but with Falcao unable to shake his injury troubles, while having scored just one goal from five Premier League games, the Red Devils may look elsewhere in the summer.
