Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is refusing to rule his side out of the title race this season, despite Chelsea being eight points clear after just 11 games, reports Sky
“There are a lot of games to play in the Premier League and Champions League. We have 27 more games to play and there are a lot of points (to be contested), so we will see at the end who will be the best team this year,” he said.
Chelsea are the only side unbeaten in the division this season, winning nine and drawing two. Jose Mourinho’s side have already faced five of the sides who finished in the top-7 last season too. Manchester City were held to a home draw against the London side, and will struggle to better their results over the campaign, given how disappointing they’ve been.
