Oscar signs new long-term deal with Chelsea

According to BBC Sport, Chelsea midfielder Oscar has signed a new deal with the Londoners, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

The Brazilian international, 23, has been a mainstay in the team since his arrival in 2012 from Internacional. This season, Oscar has showcased some of his best form for manager Jose Mourinho, and has played his part in the London side looking title favourites in November.

“I have enjoyed playing here for two years and now I have five more, so I am very happy. I am so happy because I love playing for Chelsea and living in England,” he said.

His technical ability on the ball make him perfect to provide individual brilliance in attack, but also his combative attributes to help out defensively makes him an ideal Mourinho player to have in the team.
