Queens Park Rangers 2-2 Manchester City: Aguero brace rescues a point for out-of-form City

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero scored twice as the Sky Blues came from behind twice to rescue a point away to QPR, reports BBC Sport.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin had the ball in the back of the net twice, but both goals were disallowed. He made no mistake at the third time of asking, expectedly slotting past Joe Hart in the Man City goal to put Rangers 1-0 up.

Sergio Aguero latched on to a long ball, and weaved his way into the area, finishing past Rangers ‘keeper Rob Green to level proceedings.

An own goal from Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis saw QPR go 2-1 up, before Aguero repeated the feat again from a direct pass from deep, round Rob Green and scoring with the goal gaping.

Man City end the day eight points off league leaders Chelsea, while QPR are just one point from safety.
