Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne to take his England chance with both hands

With Nathaniel Clyne looking set to start at right-back for England’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia, the Southampton defender revealed he won’t blow the opportunity of a lifetime, reports BT Sport.

“I’ve been given my chance now and I am going to make it count. It shows that I am getting credit for the good performances that I have been putting in. I am ready for any game, if it is against Slovenia or Scotland. I feel I am at the best of my ability at the moment. I am playing well and I am taking this confidence into the internationals,” he said.

Clyne has been outstanding for the Saints in the Premier League this season, with the South Coast outfit boasting the best defence in the division, while sitting second in the table.
