After 10-man Swansea City earned a scoreless draw against Everton at Goodison Park, defender Ashley Williams praised his side’s backline for keeping the Toffees at bay, reports BBC
“We dealt with most of it, especially when we got down to 10 men. We’ve been (reduced to 10 men) many times this season already (so) it made it a bit easier. We know what our roles are. I thought we defended really well. It was definitely a point gained. It’s a tough place to come. We kept the clean sheet which is really pleasing,” said Williams.
Swansea City enjoyed a bright start to the new season, before a slump in form saw them slowly slipping down the table. The Jacks are impressively sixth in the Premier League so far, while having only lost once in their last five games – picking up six points in the process.
