Benjamin Stambouli scored the only goal of the game for Tottenham against Partizan, as the Londoners earned qualification to the Europa League last-32 despite on-pitch distractions, reports BBC
The first-half saw the players taken off the pitch due to three invasions by fans. Initially, many thought it was from Tottenham supporters due to the people in question wearing white shirts. But it turned out that invasions were from people promoting an electronics company.
After getting over the first-half distractions, Tottenham came out of the blocks after the break and found the goal their play deserved in the 49th minute. Striker Roberto Soldado struck the post with his effort, but Stambouli followed up and finished from close range.
It was his first Tottenham goal, and led the Londoners to the last-32 of the Europa League.
