Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants players to start replicating Europa League performances in the Premier League

Ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League clash, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants his side to start performing in the league as well as Europe, reports the Express.

“Maybe the team feels more freedom (in Europe) than the Premier League. It is a different competition. We are more confident in the Europa League, our feeling is more free, to play and show our skill. We need to try and show the same on Sunday against Everton. It is important,” he said.

Tottenham have lost five of their 12 games in the Premier League this season, but their Europa League campaign has been nearly flawless, picking up eight points from four group games, while winning both qualifying games prior to their entry into the group.

Pochettino’s men will be through to the last-32 with a win against Partizan Belgrade tomorrow night, and have a tricky Premier League tie to come against Everton on Sunday.
