Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen admits the squad struggle to adhere to the manager’s instructions

Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has given reason to the side’s poor start this season, by admitting the team don’t always carry out the manager’s instructions, reports the Standard.

Tottenham have started the season poorly in the Premier League, losing five games from 12 already. The Londoners have been defeated four times at White Hart Lane in the league, and manager Mauricio Pochettino found himself under pressure.

“To get a new manager it’s difficult and takes time. We are getting used to his training and how he wants us to play in the games, but of course there are times when it doesn’t connect at all. You need to know what your team-mates will be doing, and that is an area we need to improve,” he said.

But with Tottenham winning away recently against Hull City, there is a feel in the came that they can climb up the table.
