Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen believes his side need to hold a team meeting to get to the bottom of their poor start to the season, reports Sky
“It’s not good enough. At the start of the season there were seven or eight teams wanting (to finish) top four, and two or three will be disappointed. I hope it’s not us. After this week we need to talk. Hopefully we can be honest with each other,” said the Belgian.
Tottenham recently lost at home to Stoke City, which was their fourth defeat at White Hart Lane this season already. The London side, managed by former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino, have lost a total of five games from 11 in the Premier League, and are in danger of losing ground on the sides chasing top-four.
