Tottenham’s board to speak to supporters’ trust about poor run of form

According to Sky Sports, the board at Tottenham are to speak with the club’s supporters’ trust to help appease the fans after a poor run of form.

After Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor revealed the squad prefer to play away from home due to the home crowd’s negative pressure put on them, the supporters’ trust want answers as they perceive the club and its players to be making excuses for their current failures.

“It feels like the fans have been added to a long list of excuses for why the team is underperforming. There’s a huge disconnect between our fanbase and the club right now and an awful lot of unrest. A growing movement amongst fans who’ve had enough and feel it’s time for a change at the top. We have a dialogue with this board, we’re meeting with them next Thursday and we’ll ask the questions that need to be asked on behalf of our fan base,” said Katt Law, secretary of the Tottenham Hotspurs supporters’ trust.
