Arsenal supporters waited for manager Arsene Wenger at a train station, before heckling and hurling vocal abuse at him, after the Londoners lost to Stoke, reports the Independent.
Stoke City beat the Gunners 3-2 at the Britannia stadium on the weekend, and the result saw Wenger’s side lose ground on the teams currently chasing a top-four finish.
The long-serving manager was critical of his side’s defensive mistakes in the game against the Potters, but was given a frosty reception by supporters following the game. Such actions have been already condemned by BBC pundit and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, who labelled it “disgusting behaviour”.
