Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger names his side for the Galatasaray clash tonight

As reported by Sky Sports, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has named his team to face Galatasaray this evening in their last Champions League group game.

“To make it as simple as possible, I have 11 experienced players and six young players on the bench. That means I have nothing to hide. The players who need a rest stayed behind – like Cazorla, Sanchez, Gibbs – Giroud is not qualified – and Welbeck. Sanchez had a groin problem for some time, and has played 27 games,” said Wenger.

Arsenal comfortably saw past the Turkish outfit in their first meeting earlier this season, and with their place sealed in the last-16, Wenger has opted to rest key players to help rectify their Premier League form. A win tonight, and a defeat for first-placed Borussia Dortmund would see the Gunners top their group, but it would be a big turnaround as Dortmund face Anderlecht.

Arsenal predicted starting eleven: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers, Bellerin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Flamini, Ramsey, Campbell, Sanogo, Podolski.
