Stoke striker Peter Crouch scored an equaliser just minutes after City went behind to Palace, which helped his side take a share of the spoils at Selhurst Park, reports BBC
Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the game, heading over the Stoke goalkeeper to put the struggling Eagles into the lead.
But Stoke responded almost instantly, with Peter Crouch scoring from inside the area less than two minutes later. It proved to be the best of the action in the game, as both Crystal Palace and Stoke City weren’t at their fluid best in regard to creating clear-cut opportunities.
The second-half had somewhat of the same vibe, with both teams content with taking a share of the spoils, rather than risk losing the match by chasing an unlikely winner.
