Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock recently revealed striker Marouane Chamakh will be out “for a few weeks at least” with hamstring injury, reports Sky
The former Arsenal frontman picked up the injury against Stoke City last weekend, and is now likely to be out of action for the rest of the year. It’s come at a bad time for Warnock, who recently admitted his side desperately need a prolific goalscorer.
Chamakh, 30, has scored just one goal in 13 games this season, but has been a regular due to his creativity (15 chances made). However, his absence means Palace have just Dwight Gayle and Fraizer Campbell to choose from in attack ahead of a difficult trip to face defending champions Manchester City.
