David Moyes wants to bring Man Utd’s Januzaj to Spain

New Real Sociedad and former Manchester United manager David Moyes is plotting a January move to bring Adnan Januzaj to the club on loan for the rest of the season, the Daily Star has reported.

Having been sacked before the end of his first and only season in charge of the Red Devils last term, David Moyes has moved to Spain to try and rebuild his shattered reputation with struggling Sociedad.

He has confirmed that he will be an active man when the window for negotiations reopens in January and has identified United youngster Januzaj as one of his top targets.

It is believed that the Scot will look to bring the young Belgian in on loan for the remainder of the campaign after the 19-year-old became one of the only shining lights from Moyes’ reign at Old Trafford.

Januzaj has struggled for playing time under new boss Louis van Gaal, who has adopted a system unfamiliar to the youngster’s style of play, but it remains to be seen if he will be allowed to leave the club.

He has made only nine appearances so far this season.

While Moyes is keen on his former charge, he is expected to face tough competition from the likes of Inter Milan and Ajax for the player’s services.
