Premier League leaders Chelsea go to Championship high-flyers Derby County looking to earn a place in the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup.
The home side are among the favourites to be promoted to the top-flight this season after suffering heartache in the play-off final last time around at the hands of 10-man Queens Park Rangers. Despite losing on Saturday to fellow promotion chasers Middlesbrough, they are still handily placed.
Former England boss Steve McClaren has the Rams playing fluent attacking football, with Chris Martin a prolific goalscorer, while Craig Bryson and Jeff Hendrick contribute strongly from the midfield. They came from 2-0 down to win 5-2 away to Fulham in the last round.
Chelsea will be well aware of the challenge they will face on Tuesday evening, having seen off Derby at the iPro Stadium in the FA Cup last season. They have also been given tough games by two other Football League clubs in this competition – Bolton Wanderers and League Two side Shrewsbury Town.
Manager Jose Mourinho is likely to rotate his team for this one, but will not be complacent. He will also be expecting a performance as the Blues never quite convinced in defeating Hull City at the weekend to maintain their lead at the top of Premier League.
Derby will be without defender Ryan Shotton after he was sent off at Middlesbrough, meaning the experienced Jake Buxton could come in.
The visitors will continue with Petr Cech in goal, and while Gary Cahill will be rested, Cesc Fabregas is back from a one-match ban.
