With Everton conceding from Hull City’s only shot on target, manager Roberto Martinez feels it was tired legs that was to blame for their crumble, reports Sky
“There were a few tired legs. You have to be expansive and use a lot of energy to break a team down. It’s frustrating. My players gave everything they had,” he said.
Hull City forward Sone Aluko came off the bench to score the equalising goal for the Tigers, after Everton’s Romelu Lukaku put the hosts in the in lead around the half four mark.
It was yet another game the Merseyside club had conceded in this season, and meant they finished the evening in 11th place. Everton have only won once in their last five games, so they will be disappointed to drop points to Hull.
