Everton manager Roberto Martinez has said injured winger Kevin Mirallas could return for the Toffees in time for the Christmas period, reports Sky
The Belgian international, 27, has been in good form for Everton this season, scoring four goals in nine league starts. He’s been a regular in the side all through the campaign, and since signing from Olympiacos in 2012, so the club were worried when they found at the extent of his ankle injury.
“We were very worried, but the damage is the least it could be – it’s great news. He’s a quick healer and I don’t expect him to be out for too long – the game on Saturday is a bit too early but I wouldn’t rule him out for any of the fixtures in the Christmas period,” said the Everton boss.
