Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is set to join Serie A side AC Milan on a permanent deal next month, reports Chelsea’s
The Spanish international was loaned out to AC Milan in August, and was due to stay with the club for two seasons. But Milan have exercised his buying option and will have the player permanently in January.
Former side Atletico Madrid were linked with Torres, after leaving the door open for a return, but the Spaniards have missed out on a reunion. The Chelsea man hadn’t exactly impressed in Italy in his short time with the Serie A club, scoring just one goal in 10, but he will now look to better his form for his new permanent club as of the New Year.
