Relegation-threatened pair Hull City and West Brom played out a goalless stalemate at the KC Stadium yesterday afternoon, reports BBC
It was a game without many clear cut opportunities for both sides, but West Brom were awarded a penalty in the first-half for a foul on Victor Anichebe. Unfortunately for the Baggies, Graham Dorrans missed the resulting spot-kick.
Both sides were gritty, determined, but ultimately predictable with their play, and the lack of creativity led to a tame affair with few goalscoring chances.
Hull City’s best chance of the game fell to Stephen Quinn, with the Tigers midfielder heading Jake Livermore’s ball into the area, which forced a save from Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster. But a draw was a fair result at the end.
