Hull City manager has admitted he is unaware of where on-loan winger Hatem Ben Arfa is, after the Frenchman was dropped from the first-team and allowed to leave the country, reports ITV
Ben Arfa was told he didn’t have a future with parent club Newcastle United in the summer, and was subsequently moved out on loan to Hull City in a bid to find some form and put himself in the shop window for another side. But things have quickly gone stale after some below-par performances with the Tigers, and the City boss admitted he hasn’t seen eye to eye with the former Marseilles man.
“Sometimes transfers don’t work out, and it’s fair to say with Ben Arfa I can’t see there being a future. Unfortunately, he wants to do his things his way, so unless he changes, then I treat him like every other player. He has been omitted from the squad, but there has been no fallout. He is not Awol. He could be in Paris though. I’ve no idea where he is. He could be in Hull for all I know,” said Bruce.
