Italians Inter Milan are readying a bid to save Lukas Podolski from his Arsenal bench hell, the Daily
Podolski has not been shy with his opinions on his current duties, or lack of, at the Emirates and is looking increasingly likely to end his Arsenal hell in January.
Boss Arsene Wenger has always maintained the German is a part of his plans and that he will not be sold – but with all the attacking talent at his disposal it is hard to see much more game time for the player than the already minimal minutes he has received this season.
Inter man Roberto Mancini has been keen on the 29-year-old forward for a while now having moved to bring him to Galatasaray when he was in charge of them only for financial problems to scupper a deal.
But he is now in a position to potentially land his long courted target, and Podolski added fuel to the fire by not ruling anything out.
He said of a potential transfer: “I don’t say that I want to leave or that I leave in winter. I just think about my situation and my situation is unhappy.
“Galatasaray were interested in me. We’ll see what happens in January.”
