After seeing Martin Demichelis and Dedryck Boyata form a solid partnership in the Manchester City defence against Sunderland, manager Manuel Pellegrini was full of praise for the two centre-backs, reports Sky
Manchester City are coming into form, but faced a bogey team in Sunderland while having Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala both out of action ahead of last night’s clash. But Demichelis and Boyata performed admirably in their absence.
“Demichelis played against Swansea and did very well so I trust him a lot. Boyata is working very well and can now demonstrate what he can do in. It’s not easy to play here because we have important players in that position, but every time I have called on him he has done very well,” said the Chilean.
