Manchester United’s Robin Van Persie warns Liverpool of his growing form ahead of weekend meeting

Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has issued a warning to weekend opponents Liverpool that he’s starting to find some fitness and form, reports the Express.

“I’ve been feeling very well over the last couple of weeks. I can play 90 minutes easy. The goals, assists, wins will come. I just have to keep it going and play more. The next game is Liverpool, so we’re looking forward to that. We are really happy that we are on the way up now. We have to keep the momentum going,” said the Dutchman.

Robin Van Persie, 31, started the new Premier League season slowly under new manager Louis Van Gaal, but has since scored three goals in as many games to bring his total to six in 14 so far.
