Newcastle manager Alan Pardew rues growing injury list

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has revealed how many players the Magpies could be missing for their midweek clash against Burnley, reports the Express.

“There’s no (goalkeeper) Tim (Krul), no (defender Fabricio) Coloccini, no (midfielder) Moussa (Sissoko) and Jack (Colback), who would probably all start if they were fit. We’ve been in this position before and we’ve won, and the squad has got good strength,” he said.

Newcastle are coming off the back of a weekend defeat to West Ham United, but their recent upturn in form has them in a healthy 8th position in the Premier League. Alan Pardew’s side had won five games on the bounce in the league, and the Magpies could go fourth in the table with a win against Burnley on Tuesday.
