With Newcastle facing Tottenham in the Capital One Cup quarter-final tomorrow night, manager Alan Pardew was full of praise for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, reports ITV
Alan Pardew was present as Kane scored against Swansea City, with Tottenham winning 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium on the weekend, and the 53-year-old is tipping Kane for a bright future with the England side.
“I think he is fabulous. I watched him on Sunday, and when you have got an English striker who can do 13km at pace and have the quality and technical ability in the box, (England manager) Roy Hodgson should count himself very lucky,” he said.
While yet to receive his first senior cap for the national team, Kane’s form could well see him in the reckoning during the next international break.
