Norwegian wonder kid given tour of Liverpool HQ

Liverpool appear to be moving into pole position to land Norwegian wonder boy Martin Odegaard, who has become the most sort after youngster on the planet – after giving him a tour of the club and city, the Daily Mail has reported.

Odegaard is just 15=years-old but already has the reputation of a potential superstar and set the record for youngest player to appear in a European Qualifier when he made his international debut against Bulgaria this year.

There is serious competition for his signature and he has reportedly already spent time around Real Madrid and Manchester United – with United expecting to see the youngster again.

Now Liverpool have taken the opportunity to show Odegaard and his father, reported Liverpool fans, around the club, Melwood training complex and the city centre in a bid to sway the teenager towards them.

Having made his bow with Norway, golden boy Odegaard has three caps to his name and all before his 16th birthday on the 17th of December.

Chelsea have ruled themselves out of a move for the 15-year-old but did make contact with the player before doing so.
