QPR manager Harry Redknapp keen on La Galaxy striker Robbie Keane in January

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he would be interested in signing La Galaxy striker Robbie Keane when the January transfer window opens, reports the Express.

“The MLS market is one that we’ve got to look at. Robbie’s a good shout, he’s a good pro. He would be the ideal type to have around for sure because he would give us something,” said the experienced coach.

Keane scored 22 goals in the MLS in the last season, bagging the extra-time goal to seal the MLS Cup for the Galaxy. He spent a short time with Aston Villa on loan during the off-season, and Redknapp would be very keen on bolstering his striker options, as Rangers have just Charlie Austin and Bobby Zamora in attack.
