Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp says his side were unlucky against Everton

After relegation-threatened Queens Park Rangers lost 3-1 away to Everton courtesy of two deflected goals, manager Harry Redknapp said his side were unlucky, reports BBC Sport.

The Hoops went behind to a deflected effort from distance by Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, and the home side doubled their lead over QPR with a deflected Kevin Mirallas free-kick, and Redknapp feels his side needed a bit of their luck to go their way.

“We played well. I thought there was really something in the game for us. (But) a deflection carried (Ross Barkley’s goal) into the net and then there was another deflection for (Kevin Mirallas’) free-kick. We gave away a bizarre goal for the third. You need a little luck sometimes and it went their way a little bit tonight,” said Redknapp.
