Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has recently admitted he would be keen on a move to a foreign club, following reports linking the Scotland international to La Liga side Real Sociedad, reports Sky
“There’s better weather than here. I would love the experience of playing abroad because it’s certainly something different. Hopefully, more British players will go and do it,” he said.
Charlie Adam’s agent is Kenny Moyes, brother of Real Sociedad manger David, of which club are said to have sent assistant Billy McKinlay to scout Adam in action recently.
The former Liverpool man, 28, has struggled for game time in recent weeks, racking up just 85 minutes of Premier League football since the end of October, which has led to growing rumours of a potential exit when the January transfer window opens.
