Tottenham were perhaps fortunate to come away with a draw against Crystal Palace yesterday afternoon, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side second-best for the majority, reports BBC
Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha were both positive in possession, but couldn’t create any clear-cut chances of note, with their distribution leading to an attacking breaking down or a player failing to hit the target.
Tottenham did have their own chances through Roberto Soldado hitting a shot over the bar, and having another effort wide of the target, while Christian Eriksen nearly weaved some magic early on.
Jason Puncheon hit the woodwork for the visitors, while Wilfried Zaha and Scott Dann came close to scoring a potential winner.
Palace will leave the more frustrated of the two sides, as they had the better chances over the 90 minutes. Tottenham were count their lucky stars they came away with a point.
