Tottenham have goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to thank, as the Londoners kept an impressive Manchester United at bay at White Hart Lane, reports BBC
Manchester United were by far the dominant side in the first-half, but couldn’t make their chances count. Robin Van Persie will have felt he should have scored at least once against the Londoners, but his finishing touch had deserted him.
Hugo Lloris was in fantastic form for Tottenham, keeping out everything that was in his way. Spurs did create opportunities, but were also guilty of being wasteful in the final third. Ryan Mason missed a gilt-edged chance late in the second-half, but by the final whistle both sides were happy to take a share of the spoils.
