Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says Adebayor will be back before Christmas

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed striker Emmanuel Adebayor should return before Christmas, after being allowed a leave of absence for personal reasons, reports the Express.

The Togolese international has returned home, at a time where his family have been encountering problems, with Adebayor blaming his mother for cursing him to play poorly for Spurs. The former Manchester, Real Madrid and Arsenal forward also owns properly in his hometown too.

“Ade is in his country on a personal matter to fix something. We hope he will stay with us next week to train. When you have a problem, it is difficult to give your best. Players are human. Family is important,” said Pochettino. And when asked if he would return prior soon, the Spurs boss replied “Yes, yes, before Christmas.”
