While his Tottenham side were outclassed by a ruthless Chelsea side at Stamford Bridge last night, manager Mauricio Pochettino is focusing on the positives, reports Sky
“I am very positive. We tried to create chances. I think we deserved to score. We played against a very tough team. It’s disappointing because I think we started the game very well. We are a team in a good way at the moment and our performance today was proof of that. We are not happy with the result but we take plenty of positives away,” said Pochettino.
Tottenham hit the woodwork early on in their clash against Chelsea, with Harry Kane heading an effort against the crossbar. Spurs were soon punished with Eden Hazard beating Hugo Lloris at the near post. Goals from Didier Drogba and Loic Remy did the job for the Blues, which put an end to their consecutive Premier League wins.
